The Bucks are back for their second season at Oglethorpe University.

The Brookhaven Bucks, a collegiate summer baseball team, will begin their second season with their season opener at Oglethorpe University on Saturday, June 2, 2012.

First pitch is at 4:15pm.

“We won our division and set a record for attendance, with more than 2,200 fans, in our first season,” said Bucks’ owner John Davis. “Our goals this year are to increase attendance and win the Sunbelt League championship.”

The 2012 Bucks will be coached by Nick Hogan, a Brookhaven resident and graduate of St. Pius High School and Georgia State University, where he currently serves as director of baseball operations.
