Patterson Named Head Coach
Corey Patterson, a 12-year Major League Baseball player, was named the head coach of the Brookhaven Bucks. Coach Patterson graduated from Harrison High School in Kennesaw, GA in 1998. He was drafted in the first round (3rd pick overall) of the MLB amateur draft by the Chicago Cubs in 1998 and made his MLB debut in 2000 with the Cubs. He went on to play for the Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Nationals, Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays and St. Louis Cardinals before retiring in 2013.
