Four members of the 2019 Brookhaven Bucks championship team have signed contracts with Major League Baseball teams this month.

Chandler Simpson (Georgia Tech) agreed to a contract with the Tampa Bay Rays after being selected in the 2nd round of the MLB draft. Andrew Jenkins (Georgia Tech) signed with the Detroit Tigers, Jenkins was selected by the Tigers in the 9th round of this year’s draft. Kevin Kilpatrick (College of Central Florida) inked a deal with the Atlanta Braves after being selected in the 17th round of the MLB Draft. Devonte Brown (North Carolina State) signed as an undrafted free agent with the Toronto Blue Jays.
